I wanted to upgrade the existing Ventline Ventadome roof vent in my RV without breaking the bank, which is why I was hesitant to replace it entirely for around $150 as I had been told. Instead, I opted to buy all the necessary parts and design a custom motor bracket that Ventline doesn't manufacture. I installed everything myself and now have a functioning fan in the RV roof vent for approximately $45.
