Y Adapter for Ventilator. Designed in Response to COVID-19 to Prepare for Use/Reuse of Ventilator Circuits. Use at Your Own Risk - No Implied Warranty for Safety or Effectiveness. Ventilator Connections Have Small and Large Versions, Tapered to Allow for Pressure Fit. Standard is ISO 5356-1:2004. Maximum Ventilator Settings Are Typically 60 cm H2O [~0.85 PSI]. Recommend Printing Using SLA Printer to Ensure Good Layer Adhesion (and No Leaks). FDM Printers Are Hard to Achieve Airtight/Watertight Characteristics. FDM Printers with ABS Material Will Work, but Requires One of the Following Post-Processing: -Acetone to Smooth the Layer Lines Together (Careful to Avoid the Contact Points of the Tapered Fit) -ABS Cement Leak Test on Ventilator Prior to Use. Sterilize/Clean Appropriately Prior to Use. SLA Resin and Digital ABS Prints Passed Sterilization (PV.270.04.30 -- Steam Sterilization Pre Vac Cycle -- 270 F for 4 Minutes -- 30 Minute Dry Time).
