This model uses a commonly available cheap bag-mask that adapts easily for automatic operation. The electric motor is a standard 12-volt DC, similar to those used in power window lifters. With an output speed of approximately 100 rpm, the motor is geared down to 20 rpm, which is typically within the range allowed by ventilators (15 to 20 cycles per minute). Control is achieved using a variable resistor, allowing for modification of the speed as needed.
