A ventilation shaft is installed through a 150mm opening in the room. To achieve this, a separate double-glazed window with a 150mm aperture needs to be installed. The width of the double-glazed window can be seen in the photograph at 29mm. From inside, standard pipes measuring 110x55mm are detached and replaced with channel fans.
