A customizable OpenSCAD model for a vent or drain cap featuring an integrated screen at the end is presented here. The model incorporates parameters such as throat (non-screened end) depth, height, and opening; mouth (screened end) depth, height, and opening; screen size and opening. Please note that this design works optimally when the mouth is larger than the throat; if you require a reversal of sizes, some adjustments to the model may be necessary. Be prepared for a lengthy rendering process in OpenSCAD (approximately 30 minutes on an i5 under Win7) and slicing using Skeinforge on Ubuntu (about 90 minutes). As provided, this design has a 127mm (mouth) and 89mm (throat) opening, with all outputs in millimeters.
