I have a Garmin Nuvi 1490LMT that was missing part of its mount, so I made this custom solution. It attaches to the Nuvi's existing clip and then clips onto a vent. To produce this object, I used my RepRap i3 printer with specific settings. Here are those details: Printer Brand: RepRap Printer Model: i3 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2mm Infill Density: 50% I printed this part in PETG because PLA can deform when exposed to high temperatures, such as those found inside a car. The print itself took about an hour. To assemble the mount, I rotated it so that the ball support was facing upwards on the print bed. After printing, I removed any excess supports and then cut off the ball support, filing it until it fit snugly into its corresponding socket. This process didn't take long at all.
