Learn how to master the art of 3D Design for 3D Printing with my class: https://www.PrintThatThing.us I had an absolute blast designing this Venom vs Eddie Brock design, and I'm thrilled to share it with you. This project was born out of the Sculpt January 2019 challenge "Jekyll & Hyde," and I spent about 5 hours bringing it to life. What I loved most about this project is that I got to push my skills in designing faces and adding textures. I experimented with texture brushes, and I'm thrilled with how Venom's skin turned out - it looks absolutely stunning! I even added tiny pores to Eddie Brock's face for an extra level of realism. Of course, I'm still working on perfecting my hair sculpting skills, but I'll get there eventually! This model was a thrill to print, and I printed it without supports or rafts, which might not have been the best idea. However, I wanted to see how it would turn out, and I'm happy to report that it printed with no issues whatsoever! The texture looks amazing, but if you're not feeling adventurous, I highly recommend printing it with supports. If you don't have access to a 3D printer, don't worry - I can print this model for you. Just let me know if you need any help along the way. I'm always here to assist you. I printed this design on my MakerBot Replicator 5th Gen and the Creality CR-10 using Red Tianse Filament PLA 1.75mm.
