Venice of the North: Narrow Boat

I've heard my dad refer to Ellesmere Port as the Venice of the North. I'm currently working on a Narrow Barge prototype before moving onto a larger scale model. To get started, I began by designing lock gates - it was helpful to have my Boat Museum book from the 1980s to refresh my memory. The design for this project came from a plan I found online at https://www.thefitoutpontoon.co.uk/product/narrowboat-drawing/.
