Venetian gondola - E3D V6 chiller for 3DRag K8200
thingiverse
I am not much impressed by both the E3D V6 interface and the cooling setup for the metal Hotend . Therefore, I designed a new version. It utilizes two 40mm fans for excellent airflow and redundancy - two are better than one. The inlet fan features an aerodynamic insert to prevent turbulence and maintain dynamic pressure. Both fans are positioned to prevent cold draughts from forming on the printed piece, allowing for ducting in enclosed installations. The interface to 3Drag was inspired by Owl1981's "e3d v6 to 3Drag/K8200 adapter," made more robust and modified to work with the cooling tunnel! To eliminate any weight constraints, you should also print the Base Plate, based on Boris Landoni's work, but with minor adjustments (most notably merging nuts into the base for added stability). This way, you'll be able to start printing flexible filaments immediately. Always keep the fans running until the hotend is completely cooled down to prevent deformation.
