Velux 120mm Window Fan
thingiverse
I decided to eliminate the hot air from my printing room by installing fans in my windows. To achieve this, I added some 120mm fans that fit snugly into place while still allowing for easy removal when needed. These fans hold down with a small chock and can be taken out without any hassle if you want to close your window. For maximum efficiency, I use the "be quiet! PURE WINGS 2 high-speed" fans, which I was able to purchase for a reasonable price of 8€ each. To regulate their speed, I also installed a step-down converter. If you're looking for alternative fan sizes, there are four different versions available: 100mm, 120mm, and 125mm rectangular, as well as a custom-designed version that fits perfectly in the middle right position, as shown in the photos. If you need a smaller or larger version, feel free to ask me in the comments. I'd love to see your projects and hear about your experiences with this setup!
