This is a detailed replica of a subwoofer speaker with a 15 inch driver, designed by Velodyne - the DD-15 plus in a sleek Black Gloss Ebony finish. The model was carefully crafted using the powerful tools of 3ds Max 2008 and V-ray 2.0. The design is built to life-sized dimensions for accuracy. The measurement system employed is millimeters, which allows for precise measurements. The V-Ray materials feature a rich texture, adding depth to the design. Lighting and camera settings are not included in this model. Files other than the original 3ds Max file can be exported as a base mesh and with smoothing applied. All preview images were rendered using 3DS Max and V-ray. This comprehensive model consists of 30 individual objects, giving users a high level of control over the design. The total number of polygons is substantial: 95689 quads, 6096 tris, and no ngons. When TurboSmooth is disabled, the model comprises 101785 polygons.
