This design boasts a single, elegantly minimalist fin supporting the central cone, allowing for maximum turbulence to occur as air flows through. The outer lip and cone's smooth curve gradually taper down to a narrow cross-sectional volume equal in width to that of the actual fan blades. The addition of this feature has yielded anecdotal results, including increased fan output and decreased fan noise.
