velleman vertex k8400 settable Z axis stabilizer
thingiverse
I've tried various z-axis stabilizers for my Velleman K8400 Vertex 3D printer, but they don't fit because of the different gap between the back wall and the Z axis. So, I decided to design my own with an adjustable distance. The gap between the back wall and the Z axis center can be set from 22 to 25mm. To assemble it, you'll need two M4x40mm screws, two M4 self-locking nuts, and a 608ZZ ball bearing. Mount it as shown in the picture, and if the ball bearing has too much play, add some adhesive tape around it. I printed the object with PLA at 35% infill. As required by the GPL license, I'm including the freeCAD file used to create this design and a copy of the license.
