This Air duct for stock, one hotend setup, Vertex K8400 uses the upper turbine fan to bring air to the bottom and not affect the thermistor or heating power of the hotend. Don't forget to clear the small opening on the top which will be bridged and is intended to let a little air cool to the other side of hotend cold insulator. IMPORTANT: This air duct will let the cold end insulator with no cooling, you must ensure direct and efficient cooling for the insulator otherwise it will melt!!!! *Another reason for this duct is that under pressure air is ''washing'' the Y rod which remains oil dried quickly making the motors work harder.... The walls of the model are very thin so print with full infill!, preferably PET-G or ABS, it will be negligible as weight.
