Velleman Vertex K8400 Bearing Clamp with bigger hole

thingiverse

This bearing clamp has been upgraded with a larger hole as part of an experiment initiated by someone on the Velleman forum. The goal is to fit a standard shaft bearing (measuring 10mm in outer diameter and 8mm in inner diameter, matching that of the rods) into the bearing clamp, thereby allowing for adjustable distance between the clamps and thus reducing issues related to smooth movement. To achieve this setup, only one such modified clamp per axis is required.
