This belt spanner serves as a general setup tool that can be seen in this object: I swapped out my timing pulleys for 20T XL Aluminium ones, which forced me to adjust the spanning mechanism or use a shorter XL belt. Currently, I am utilizing a 506XL037 and would have needed to downsize to something like 490XL037. For the pulley itself, I've installed a bearing to prevent belt slippage and added shoulders for added security. I made this change because even with optimal calibration, a printed 24T XL Timing pulley is not perfectly round. Additionally, printing individual pulleys carries the risk of varying mean diameters. These imperfections lead to inconsistencies in layer height, which can be visually apparent. This upgrade is an improvement over the double Z-axis modification found at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:311980
