I bought these tripod screws to use with this project: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KI3J7G2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 The threads on the tripod screws barely protruded through the top, so I added a recess underneath. I also added a recess on the top for a 7/32" E-clip, which I bought from a local hardware store.
