Vela infinita/Infinite candle

The device is a floating fuel source suspended above a layer of vegetable oil. The fuel is created by rolling up a small piece of absorbent paper. Interestingly, the initial versions I designed tended to sink. Researching the properties of PLA revealed that it is denser than water (1.25 grams per cubic centimeter). To keep the device afloat, I added four hollow spaces at the top that act as flotation devices. It's not exactly an infinite candle because it goes out when all the oil has been consumed, but you can add more to make it last as long as needed.
