We had a discussion in the office about 3D printing, where one of my new colleagues asked if I could create a leg for his drone, which he'd lost during a flight. Apparently, he's given up trying to fold the normal legs on his drone, and we ended up with a static design as a result. This is actually my second attempt at making a 3D printed leg for his drone, and so far it's working really well. I used PLA material with a 0.3 resolution, which took around 57 minutes to print. You can add infill as you see fit, but 10-15% works great. I highly recommend printing all four legs of the drone, as this will help improve its overall stability and balance in flight.
