Accessories to accompany tactile street maps (thing 5177801) designed to teach Orientation and Mobility (O&M) concepts to people who are blind or have low vision. Combine the sign base with the traffic light, stop sign and give way/yield sign, attaching with a toothpick or wire and some glue. The stop and give way/yield signs have a braille letter to assist with identification. There are 3 styles of pedestrian, with or without a hole to attach a cane. These materials were created as part of an ARC Linkage Project investigating the use of 3D printing for people who are blind or have low vision. Thanks are extended to the Australian Research Council, Monash University, Guide Dogs Victoria and our other partners. More information about the project is available at http://accessiblegraphics.org/research/3dprints/arc/.
