Vego Garden Wire Trellis Mounts
prusaprinters
These models are intended to attach 4 inch square wire fence panels (such as Hog Wire) to corrugated metal raised garden beds (such as Vego Garden). I printed mine using PETG with 4 perimiters and 15% infill. ASA would likely be better due to its superior UV resistance though. To assemble, first sand the mating surfaces of the trellis_mount and trellis_mount_cap with coarse (60 or 80 grit) sandpaper and clean with alcohol. Then fit the trellis_mount to the wire fence panel at the desired location and glue the cap to it using epoxy. Take care that no epoxy gets on the wire fence panel or in the screw holes (even from squeeze out) or you won't be able to adjust the mount's position after the epoxy sets. To make sure the holes in the trellis_mount and trellis_mount_cap align fit an M6x40 screw through each hole. Then install a nut on each and tighten until snug to apply clamping pressure. You may need to apply additional pressure with a clamp on the lowest wire location. Repeat this procedure for additional mount locations. You should use 1 mount for every row of screws in the raised bed that will be covered by the trellis. If your wire panels are particularly tall (over ~1m) you will find they are somewhat wobbly. I solved this by mounting two panels to the same bed at a right angle and connecting them with corner_clips.
