Vegetation A

Produced with the awesome support from my Patrons! This set of modular trunks and branches is designed to bring trees to life or create a spooky atmosphere. The model scales perfectly for 28mm miniatures, but remember that trees come in all shapes and sizes. Print these at different scales and mirror them to achieve natural variation. The trunks and branches can be shaped with heat to create unique tree forms. Use pliers, dip them in boiling water (be careful), and twist them around to add character. A tutorial on this process will be shared in a future video. Two bases are included: one fits perfectly with my wood bases, while the other is designed for free-standing trees. Check out the Thingiverse page for more details: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1655501 The alive trunks feature holes to peg branches securely into place. Use superglue or a hot glue gun to attach them. Begin by gluing a small piece of paper clip onto the branch, then apply glue over the hole on the trunk and gently place the branch in position. If you're concerned about the seam, use putty or your favorite clay to conceal it. A tutorial on this technique will be shared soon. To create foliage, search for videos on YouTube that demonstrate how to make realistic tree branches. Use a hot glue gun to attach large chunks of clump foliage or wrap branches with loose wire wool. Soak the wire wool in glue and apply flock or clump foliage. More information on this process will be covered in an upcoming video. I print these models with 5% infill for optimal quality.
