This is a Pro remix of my original version here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2584312 It uses the bigger joystick, still analog but no longer fits inside the Vectrex's front. Here is the pro stick: https://www.adafruit.com/product/3102 The Vectrex arcade machine remains one of the best ever made. It's also the only home arcade machine to use a vector display, rendering it impossible to fully experience in an emulator. Launched in 1982 just before the video game crash of '83, it was largely a commercial failure unfortunately. Yet, this did not prevent it from acquiring some excellent games and becoming a cult classic. New home brew games are still being made today along with other hardware upgrades possible thanks to the original designers releasing all system information after discontinuation. In that spirit, I release my replacement controller design! I have been making and selling them for over a year now and feel it's time to share the design with the world! Vectrex4ever! Thank you to everyone who bought one. I'll continue selling the original style for $100 and the pro for $115 for those who don't want to or can't make them. It takes considerable time to assemble, so I don't generate much profit per hour; it's a labor of love. I also include a nice box and extra parts, able to print them in any color. -Fully compatible with original overlays which fit perfectly, it fits on the front of the Vectrex! -Designed for analog joysticks -Works with high-quality buttons! A major upgrade! If you want Sanwa, they fit nicely with overlays but if not using an overlay on the controller, go for the bigger 20mm ones. I prefer the smaller 18mm Sanwa so far.
