Vectrex Joystick Bracket
thingiverse
This is the bracket that secures the joystick module to the controller casing in a Vectrex controller. It was designed and manufactured for a fellow Vectrex owner whose controller suffered damage when the mounting ears on the joystick bracket snapped, causing the joystick to fall into the controller casing. It's not a moving component, so there's little to say about it other than that it should probably be printed with both raft and supports enabled to achieve somewhat perpendicular angles and a planar mounting surface for the joystick module in the end. The design was modelled after an original unbroken joystick bracket. The hole pattern for the mounting holes is off, I acknowledge this. However, the original also featured this offset pattern. I believe it's a failsafe for irregularities in the controller casings. If the screw posts it's supposed to mount on are not straight, this slightly off-center hole pattern may compensate for that. Anyway, the intentional off-center hole pattern should work with your controller too. I took the initiative to mark the top with direction words to minimize confusion when mounting the joystick module. Don't worry, these markings will be covered by the controller casing later and won't be visible.
