See the youtube video for details.

The carrier requires 2 MF95ZZ bearings and 1 MR105ZZ bearing and three small M3 screws. The MF95ZZ bearings have flanges which need to be ground to 9.5mm diameter knife edges.

Alternatively, pick your own bearings and edge diameter and change the parameters in the FreeCAD file.

Mount the bearings using three small M3 screws and mount the entire assembly on a stepper motor with a 2mm hole drilled down the center of its shaft. (The drill guide model can help with drilling the hole down the shaft.) The MF95ZZ bearings are mounted opposite ways up so that their sharpened flanges both fit into the same spiral groove that gets cut into the filament during operation.

Print the extruder body, cover and clip parts to mount it on a Prusa i3 style printer. (The clip will need sizing for your stepper motor and the hole spacing in the extruder cover part may also need changing.)

This is derived from the work of rq3, which you can find on thingiverse, youtube and the reprap tech forum.
