I created a new lens cap for my Sony VCL-ECU2 Wide Angle adapter because I lost the original one in the Niagara river. This replacement has precise cutouts for the lens hood and provides a snug fit. If you use a 0.4mm nozzle, the walls should be smooth and solid. To prevent scratching your lens body, print this design using flexible material like TPU or TPE. Printing with a .4mm nozzle will result in smooth, solid walls that fit well around the lens hood. To ensure a secure fit without damaging your lens body, use a flexible material such as TPU or TPE for printing. If you want to create a dual-purpose lens cap and white balance tool, print this design using clear TPU and choose concentric infill.
