V-Ray Render and Materials Utilize materials exclusively within 3ds Max and FBX files. All textures associated with a material in FBX scenes are contained within maxzip master files. Consequently, manual reapplication of textures is required for FBX, OBJ, 3DS, DXF, and DWG file versions. In addition, all scene textures are compiled into a single root directory.
