DESCRIPTION Cradle for a VAYDEER 4-Key Smart Keypad to bolt on top of a Mount Plus MDS12-2 VESA Mounting Shelf, with access in the rear for the USB-C cable and a retaining clip on top to hold it in place. Basically I wanted a physical key bolted to the top of the monitor itself to rotate the display on my GPU so I could rotate the monitor itself, press a button, and the display would also rotate sideways. I already had the mounting shelves on each of my monitors, so why not put them to good use? FULLY parametric model,everything is adjustable with F360 parameters. I've included a couple test prints you can fire off to make sure the bolts fit correctly ([Captive Bolt Test.f3d] and [M3 Bolt Test - Socket Head.f3d]), just make sure they're synced up with the dimensions you find in the main [VAYDEER Button Holder.f3d] Fusion360 file. The M3 bolt holes go as far as they do not only for versatility, but also so you can push the brass heated inserts into place, then quickly thread in a longer M3 bolt to make sure it's aligned correctly. I printed this in a Smoke PLA that prints best at 180 C, so I set the soldering iron to 210 C when doing this to give me a bit of "cooldown" room. This gives a solid 2mm of nothing but filled-in shell between the 1/4" bolts and the VESA shelf mount so you can torque it down without worrying about breaking the plastic by crushing the infill.
