This VAWT H-Type wind turbine boasts a 1.35 KW output single phase, with an operational speed of 90 RPM and optimal performance at 7-8 m/s wind speeds. The generator is sourced from Ginlong, although Xinda may offer more cost-effective alternatives as used in other projects. Additionally, Axial Flux generators can be utilized with this turbine design. The blades are made of Epoxid composite material, which is more durable than polyester to prevent inertia force damage. In three years of operation, the turbine has experienced no issues and has survived storms up to 180 km/h. To reduce vibrations, it's recommended to oversize the concrete basement or use a tripod tower for support. The 3DM file can be updated with minor changes for easier production, and the latest ACAD drawings are available for private use, including designs for a tripod tower and alternative turbine head solutions. If you have any design suggestions, feel free to make modifications in the workbench software. A video demonstration of this turbine is available, showcasing its quiet operation with no noise at all.
