The device utilizes a small generator designed for compatibility with vertical axis wind turbines. It incorporates sixteen 1/4" x 1/4" x 1" neo magnets that have been magnetized along their narrow sides. The bearings used in this design are 5mm ID x 16mm OD x 5mm thick, providing stability and support to the generator's components. A 5mm diameter shaft, measuring 100mm in length, plays a crucial role in its operation. Detail 005 serves as an adapter plate, specifically created for use with experimental wings attached to a previous design iteration. When employing 20 turns of 24AWG magnet wire, the generator is capable of producing approximately 0.8 watts at a speed of 1200 RPM.
