Vauxhall/Opel Mokka - Handbrake Button

thingiverse

Human beings often face a frustrating issue with the Opel/Vauxhall Mokka's handbrake button, which can suddenly break and leave owners stranded with a hefty repair bill of around £300 for a new handbrake lever. The problem arises because the button is not sold as a standalone spare part. This release offers an alternative solution to the issue, but it's essential to note that it's not an OEM-style replacement button. Instead, it provides a plug-and-play option that requires minimal effort to install. Simply apply some grease to the sliding surface, push the new button into its original slot on the handbrake lever, and you're good to go! It's worth mentioning that in certain markets, such as the UK, dealers may replace the handbrake lever under warranty. Important Notes: To complete this project, you'll need a Button Head Screw M3 x 12mm. The white slider inside the handbrake lever slot must be present for the new button to function correctly. Due to varying weather conditions, especially intense sunlight, it's highly recommended to print the button using materials like PETG or ABS. The models included in this release are free for non-profit use only. Update (June 27, 2019): Unfortunately, I was forced to recall this release due to individuals exploiting the free, non-commercial license models for their own business purposes.
