Vast: The Crystal Caverns - Sliding Lid Component Box Organizers
thingiverse
I made some changes to the original component boxes from Kickbut101 at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2383609. I added angled slits for a sliding lid to make them more secure, and there's a hole on the bottom that makes it easy to push out cards and pieces. The 0.1 mm tolerance for the slits worked well for me, but I can increase the tolerance if you want. I cut some foam pad packaging material into a 5" x 3" x 0.75" to fill in extra space. I used pmarstall's 4 x 4 tile holder from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2191295 and my own design for the purple cap at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2557204. I plan on printing a lid that slides on top since the component boxes are taller and the tiles move around. I printed all of these with PLA. You can find blank sliding lid STL and STEP files in an edit from 1/27/2018, and a test model for slits is available from 9/22/2017.
