The accompanying Thing Files contain everything needed to craft seven custom meeples for Vast: A stl file for 3D printing A pdf file featuring the artwork, ready to be printed onto sticker paper A studio3 file designed specifically for cutting the stickers out using a Silhouette Portrait Artwork permission was granted, and it was skillfully created by Kyle Ferrin. If you adjust the scale of either, be sure to make corresponding adjustments to the other. Post-Printing Instructions: 1. Ensure that the bottoms and sides of your prints are perfectly flat by gently sanding down any build lines or imperfections. 2. Apply a primer and paint to finalize the colors (skip this step if the prints were created in final colors). 3. Print out the pdf artwork on photo sticker paper and carefully cut it using an x-acto knife. Alternatively, use the .studio3 file with your Silhouette Portrait to precision-cut the artwork. 4. Finally, apply the stickers to your prints. How I Designed These Custom Meeples: I obtained the artwork from Leder Games' print-and-play package and utilized Illustrator Live Trace to transform it into line work. Next, I employed SolidWorks to extrude this line work into a 3D object. For more details on creating these custom meeples, check out the video linked above.
