This vessel represented here dates back to the Final Calcolithic period (late III millennium B.C.). The fragment was found during archaeological excavations conducted at Casal da Vila Chã Norte settlement in Mina de Água parish of Amadora. These pieces were carefully crafted by hand to achieve their distinctive campanulate shape. They are part of the Municipal Museum of Archaeology's collection, housed by the Amadora City Hall.
