Vases; Engineering Style
thingiverse
Seen a lot of vases around here. I'm an engineer so I don't know from style, but I do know a little bit about gears and how to use my modelling program of choice. I made these two vases using standard metric involute spur gear profiles then massaging until they looked close to others I've seen. These should be about 8-1/2" tall at 100%. I understand that people will probably be printing these in vase mode, but if you choose to print in normal mode, the walls are 1.2mm thick (or 3x the width of a 0.4mm nozzle) Print them up and let me know how they...turn out?
