To further increase resolution, you can subdivide the model. Initially built as one solid geometry object, this allows seamless subdivision for increased precision. With Turbosmooth modifier on top of the mesh geometry and 2 iterations, the model has a smooth appearance. Located at the scene's origin point, the model is easily accessible. Rendering was done using Vray 3.0 with a simple standard material that features no textures. The 3ds Max scene lacks illumination settings, but they can be easily added.
