Basic vase, roughly 200mm high. The one in the photo was crafted from home-made ASA filament, similar to ABS. I've encountered issues with leaks, not with my printer, but with the vase itself, so I've used acetone to seal it. It worked on my prototype, but there's a risk of distortion if too much is used. I'm trying a new approach by pouring a small amount into the vase, sloshing it around to coat all surfaces and then tipping it out into a jar. Some may seep through to the outside surfaces, so be prepared for this. The outcome remains uncertain. Update (June 2017) - The acetone trick proves effective. Minimal amounts are needed. My printer is now enclosed, retaining heat and eliminating de-laminating issues. A new design has been uploaded based on this one, which I believe looks better, dubbed Vase2. Printed numerous times with no leak problems using ABS and ASA. When treating the interior with acetone, coloring may become discolored at the top where excess acetone is shaken out. Masking this area helps. The tape can be removed before the acetone dries.
