Various Organic Structure Trivets cnc/laser

Unlike my earlier publication of a trivet, these structures are of complete procedural origin, with no tracing or pixel manipulation involved. I used Illustrator and Hiroyuki Sato's scripts to create various organic structures, such as voronoi_from_selected_objects.jsx, Round Any Corner.jsx, Archimedean Spiral.jsx, and circlepacking_in_a_circle.jsx. To make these trivets, I utilized my entry-level CNC machine and 6 mm birch and beech plywood. To prevent the bright birch wood from burn marks when used with a hot pan, I applied smoked oak veneer to one surface. A laser cutter could also be a suitable tool for creating such a design.
