Variable Speed Gas Pedal for PowerWheels
thingiverse
I designed a pedal assembly in Fusion 360 and printed it on my Prusa i3 MK3. The assembly uses a simple rotary potentiometer to measure the pedal position, allowing for variable speed control. I originally intended it for the Power Wheels Jeep, but research suggests it will work with any Power Wheels product as they share the same pedal design. My 3-year-old daughter has been driving this pedal assembly for over a year now, and I can see why manufacturers don't install variable speed controls from the factory. Despite having this feature, she still likes to mash the pedal at full speed.
