Improvement of the initial variable plate cell is underway, with a switch from the previous complex nylon thread system to a GT2 belt for moving the plates. A warning: you may gain valuable knowledge in the process... To proceed, you will need the following materials: - A closed loop rubber GT2 timing belt 180-2GT-6. - Stainless steel screws, including four M3x15 mm and eight M3x10 mm screws. - An M5 threaded rod for the drive shaft. - Two stainless steel plates for electrodes, which can be any desired size; 304 material is not necessary but could be used. - A means to connect the plates.
