Variable directional output

thingiverse

The entire craft hinges on an advanced inverted brushless motor system, supported by eight precision-crafted smaller props. The omni flaps can pivot in two distinct orientations - upwards and downwards - allowing for variable thrust output. This capability enables the craft to operate effectively without regard for orientation, mirroring underwater drone functionality. By sealing off the output slits and redirecting airflow internally, we can pressurize the sealed atmosphere, facilitating operation at higher altitudes where traditional drones often falter due to atmospheric pressure differences. The presence of internal air provides a stable environment for the props to generate thrust from. As an added benefit, each motor is designed separately, allowing for potential replacement with real-world brushless motors if needed.
