Variable-area EDF nozzle

Variable-area EDF nozzle

thingiverse

Prototype of a variable-area nozzle for use on EDF RC airplanes designed to be easily adaptable and testable. To learn more about this original build, visit https://imgur.com/a/Njsps6G. Keep in mind that this prototype is intended for testing purposes only, lacking essential features like mounting points and strong attachments for servo rods - those currently attached are likely too weak. Before printing, carefully review the print settings section to ensure a successful outcome. In addition to the STL files, I've uploaded the original Fusion 360 file for anyone who wants to modify the design. If you're planning modifications, check out these helpful tips below. Edit: following VV3sl3y's suggestion, I've added a taller version of the inner ring with a longer threaded section, allowing for greater expansion of the nozzle's flaps and improved performance.
