Vardo Caravan
thingiverse
I've created a small-scale Vardo Caravan that measures approximately 1:48 (1/4) scale, with the goal of scaling up to about 1:12th. This design offers several configurations. The door can be printed separately or as part of the Wagon Base-Door-stove assembly. If you choose to print it separately, a 0.5mm wire or pin can be used for the hinge. However, when printing in place, be careful and slow when working the hinge to avoid breaking it, since it's only 0.4mm at this scale but still functions properly. The same applies to the shaft set. The rear sub frame can be printed as a single piece or divided into two separate parts if you want the rear wheels to swivel. This Vardo Caravan also serves as a puzzle box: lifting the smoke stack allows the roof to slide open. Everything clicks and slides together, with no gluing required (except for the stove, which should be made separately). Update: I've re-oriented all the parts for optimal print positions and moved the options to a separate zip folder, leaving only the preferred print setup. Additionally, I've added a file containing all the parts except the base assembly, suitable for confident printers who want to print everything at once. Please respect the non-commercial license and enjoy your printing experience.
With this file you will be able to print Vardo Caravan with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Vardo Caravan.
