Varaha is the majestic avatar of Vishnu, manifesting as a powerful boar. As the third of the Dashavatara, the ten supreme avatars of Vishnu, Varaha holds a revered position. When the nefarious demon Hiranyaksha seized the earth, personified by the goddess Bhudevi, and concealed her in the primordial waters, Vishnu emerged as Varaha to embark on a daring rescue mission. With unyielding bravery, Varaha vanquished the demon and triumphantly retrieved the Earth from the ocean, hoisting it aloft on his formidable tusks. In doing so, Varaha restored Bhudevi to her rightful place within the universe.
