# Vaperesso - Degree: Replacement Drip Tip --- ### Background This model was designed, by me to fit, the [Vaperesso Degree Vape Kit](https://www.vaporesso.com/vape-kits/degree) Vaperesso refuses to sell replacement drip tips, with the only conceivable reason being unfettered corporate greed. I scoured the internet, far and wide, hoping to find someone who sells replacements, but alas, no luck. So I decided to design one myself. --- ### Printing Specifications Printer: Prusa i3 MK3S+ Filament: [PETG Filament](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PGYHYV8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1) --- ### IMPORTANT NOTE The most common printing material is PLA. **PLA IS NOT FOOD SAFE** **DO NOT USE PLA FOR THIS PRINT** PETG is the only *technically* food safe printing material. However due to the nature of FDM printers, there will be small ridges and gaps between layers, where bacteria can take root. **USE THIS MODEL AT YOUR OWN RISK** The Vaperesso Degree is designed in such a way that the heating element is pretty far from the drip tip and there is not much heat transfer from the heating elements to the chimney, so the normal melting point of PETG (60-70 degrees Celsius) will almost certainly not be reached Nevertheless, if you do choose to use this model: **CLEAN THE DRIP TIP REGULARLY** with diluted isopropyl alcohol, and periodically check the inside of the drip tip to see if you notice any warping or melting.
