Based on "Thor and the Midgard Serpent" by Mr. The Rich, licensed under CC Attribution-ShareAlike. The settings I chose were primarily focused on establishing a mood and atmosphere through lighting and colors. I also aimed to give a more substantial appearance to the water and an otherworldly look to the serpent by incorporating a subtle glow and subsurface scattering.
