New version designed to seamlessly slide onto plastic wrapping without needing to file it down or remove it. Description Shooting sticks inspired by the Viper Flex and other similar designs. The top components are intentionally smaller than their original counterparts. Other Components Use 11mm metal rods found in garden shops. The inner diameters of the holes are designed to fit snugly around green plastic, although it's a tight fit (no glue required), I plan to redesign the next version with striped plastic coating. In my case, two 170 cm and two slightly shorter rods work perfectly. Try using 180 cm versions and cutting them down to check the height. You will need six M3 bolts and six nuts. Ensure the bolts are at least 18 mm long; cut off excess material and file the ends flat or rounded. Parts to Print You will require six butts, two leg hinges, and two feet each, along with one top part for each of the shooting sticks. Assembly Attach the butts to the four short rods' ends and two of the longer rods. Push the remaining open ends through the holes in the legs; mine are roughly 10 cm from the end of the rods. Fit the still open ends with the feet. The top parts (front and back) slide over the remaining open ends. The back part covers the long sticks. Notes Depending on material choice, it can become quite squeaky in cold temperatures. I am working on incorporating a washer for areas with friction.
