This user acquired a Robinair 15800 VacuMaster 8-CFM Two-Stage Vacuum Pump, which produces vapor despite its basic filter. They solved this issue by designing a fixture that fits two 3M respirator filters onto the pump's vent hole, thus eliminating all visible vapor. The user shared their SketchUp file for others to modify as needed and specified printing it upside down with supports for easy removal. Closed-cell foam seals from a hobby store are used, requiring two layers in this case but potentially only one if thick enough. Finally, the fixture simply fits over the pump's vacuum vent, applying pressure.
