I'm back, did you miss me??? It has been a BUSY semester for me at school so I've been away from 3D things for a while :( This is not an official Lego set, but it's more of a MOC. I think that the Vanguard project is quite an interesting point in US history. Did you know that all 3 Vanguards (the successful ones, of course) are still in orbit??? According to scientists, they'll be up there for about 300 years. The Vanguard vehicles were equipped with a set of transmitter beacons that sent out a beep on 108 MHz. Unfortunately, they don't work anymore, but I think it'd be cool if they did! They probably do but are just sending out picowatts or so of power. Hope you like it! I'm going to start doing some of my own designs so stay tuned! ***See my Thingiverse page for printing directions***
