Vanagon Dual LED light holder 2

The original camper dome light in my 1985 Volkwagon Vanagon was an incandecent light that drained the battery very quickly for the amount of light it produced. GoWesty, who make awesome replacement parts for pretty much everything in the Vanagon, came out with this great LED replacment kit: http://www.gowesty.com/ec_view_details.php?id=23483&category_id=&category_parent_id= However, the version of the dome light in my van used a different style of light and associated light holder that was not compatible with the design of the GoWesty lights. Makerbot to the rescue. I was able to use the Makerbot Customizer to adapt this great customizeable AA battery holder model (Customized version of http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:267028 ) so that it would work with the GoWesty LED light kit design. By setting the parameters in the customizer so it would fit the LED light, and specifying two 'batteries', I was able to make a really clean, neat holder for the LEDs. I removed the original light holder, and screwed the new one in place - and voila! Nice new, low power, bright LED lights for the westy! Created with Customizer! http://www.thingiverse.com/apps/customizer/run?thing_id=267028 Instructions If you have one of the old style dome lights in the van, pickup this kit from GoWesty: http://www.gowesty.com/ec_view_details.php?id=23483&category_id=&category_parent_id= Then use customize and print out the battery holder Using the following options: doWireChannels = 1 CellLength = 46 CellCount = 2 CellRadius = 9.25 WireRadius = 1.2 Put the bolts into the holder, align the LED lights in the same direction, wire them in parallel and mount them in place of the original light holder....
